Ketchup

I’ve been so busy crafting and planning away, that I just realized I hadn’t blogged in a whole week! Apologies. I’ve been playing the game of trial and error, both exciting and exhausting! In the meantime, here are a few pics to catch up….

With this much unruly hair, every day is a bad hair day! Can [...]

Snickerdoodles

Pax always sneaks a taste (or two) of the sugar.

For the first time, Scout helped in the kitchen facing forward in the sling.  He seemed to like checking everything out, but somehow ended up with batter in his hair? Somehow…actually it  was cookie dough Momma dropped while sneaking a taste!

Scout’s new love, the quilt (one of many) MeMa made. It’s a little trippy, but babies dig it!

HomeMade

Late night apple cobbler snack! I always mess up my cobbler somehow, but I took another shot at it last night and realized the mistake I’d made all along: use “self-rising flour” not all purpose flour.  Big difference.
Some knitted cotton pants I started as soon as I found out I was pregnant, but somehow they just [...]

Nesting or Nuts?

I’m not sure if my recent sewing/crafting extravaganza is due to an instinct to have everything ready for baby…..or if I have just lost my mind? Either way, here’s some pics of what we’ve been up to.

Pax hanging out with his friends over the weekend in the new tent he got for Christmas! We’ve had [...]

Hands On

A few things we’ve had our hands on lately…..

Pax was busy painting these little wooden figures for hours.  I was impressed by how diligent and particular he was with them. I was thinking one would be Red Guy, one Blue Guy…..but he made them friends and superheroes with a lot of detail and personality!

While at the park yesterday I whipped up a Thanksgiving washcloth [...]

Autumn Love

Fall is certainly my favorite time of year and now that Pax is old enough to join in my insanity, it’s been quite eventful around here. Our house has been filled with smells of pumpkin bread and caramel apples, while I’m still finding crumbs and evidence in the carpet from a collapsed haunted gingerbread house and [...]
