There’s just something refreshing about walking outside of the house, away from the TV, away from the laundry, away from dirty dishes, and spending some time outdoors on the cold lawn grass. We’ve spent many a hours outside over the last few days and it’s been just the stay-cation we all needed! Along with God’s handywork of amazing weather, we had…..
Chubs and his picnic basket full of treasures

Paxon, his friends, and several visits from the ice cream truck

Momma, regulating the scene (obviously not so well because this was taken when Pax swiped my camera)

A little lot of knitting

Christmas gift planning

Snacks of the season

A little gift giving

Even a nap or two

All totally worth the picture right now inside my house…. mountains of laundry, toy explosion, unfinished art projects from days ago, and overflowing dirty dishes left unattended, but who cares! Right?…..

it’s been gorgeous here, too, and i’m pretty sure we’re all spoiled!! seeing your apples, have you tried honeycrisp apples? i’d never heard of them until last week and apparently they’re only around in the fall. they are sooo yummy!!
Oh Liz, I’ve never had the honeycrisp…we are gala folks around here, but I will have to pick some up! We’ve been apple eating fools around here lately!
oh aren’t those days just the best??? we’ve loved being outside lately here too. I’m not ready for it to get cold, because then you’re forced to deal with the laundry, dishes, etc…ug!
Our cool right now is low 80’s…we won’t get the good fall weather til Christmas!! It’s wonderful, but I do miss the snow, changing tree leaves, and wearing fall clothes!! And the chores..it’s never ending…just when the laundry is done, it’s time to unload the dishwasher…when it’s unloaded it’s time to pick up toys! I want a wife in my next life.
BEAUTIFUL!!!! You have such a talent! Come take our pictures!
Enjoy the nice weather. It’s a bit too cold here to sit outside with Allison. It’s 30s in the mornings (we run then, just bundled up and with a stroller shield), 40s-50s during the afternoon and then back to 30s again! Crazy…and we’re in the same state!
I think today is nice and this weekend is supposed to be fabulous. We are having a garage sale on Sat so I am working working working on that. I need to update the blog with Halloween! But I had to get my fix reading yours when I saw it was updated! Have a great day!
Thank you Kelly!! I LOVED Big Al’s Raggedy Ann costume! Probably one of the cutest costumes I’ve ever seen! Love it!!
I love seeing Scout snuggling that tag blankie! I just want to snuggle him so bad!! Can’t wait till Thanksgiving!
He LOVES his taggy blanket!! I have the ones you made Pax and a few others and he prefers this one the most! It’s like he knows it has his name on it!
Can’t wait to see you guys!!!!
