the 80’s called…they want their legwarmers back

I have a small obsession with legwarmies, even worse, chunky baby legs in legwarmies. Problem is, I had boys and my husband isn’t a fan…..clearly many of you can understand why. When our son’s outfit reminds folks of the 80’s wardrobe staple as seen below, it’s time to evaluate the situation.

So for now, we’ll tuck them back up in the box with all the other knitted things I’d hoped to pass along to my grandchildren. Let’s just hope they come back in style by then so I’m not referred to as the fruity, Granny Carrie….well, at least not because of the legwarmies.
