OK, I know I said there was only time to knit “necessities” , but once I saw this knitted cocoon online, it was necessary! So amidst the wailing newborn, spunky preschooler, and mounds of laundry, I headed to the yarn store and got to knitting.
It served it’s purpose in getting me a few pics, all the while being quite therapuetic in the knitting process.
Since the baby has been here, I sometimes miss the peace knitting brings. I soon remember, someday I’ll be knitting and longing for the peace of a new baby in my arms!

That is for sure a needed item. Oh my goodness how sweet is that!
I’d like to place an order please!
Shannon-I’ll swap the cocoon for your time editing and taking Scout’s pics the other day! And if you have another color or style in mind, let me know and I can knit you one up!
You’re exactly right! I can knit and crochet anytime, but I sure would love to just sit and rock a baby! Tara and Kristi say “Don’t look at me when you say that!” I’m looking forward to cuddling Scout. If you were closer I could do that and you could have some free time! I’m just so glad that you can be a stay at home mom. I give you many stars and kudos for all you do for your family. Like I said before, the Presley guys on Herons Grove Lane are very blessed!
Oh Sandra, how we could you use a helper these days!
Every evening the fussiness starts and we keep reminding ourselves…this too shall pass.
